This ring draws from two motifs found in Miao craft traditions, including the circular structure of ceremonial drums and the mirrored outlines used in butterfly forms. These elements are combined and adapted into a format suited to the scale of a ring.
The form is shaped through coiled filigree work in 990 silver, where fine wire is arranged into layered circular and scroll components. The motif is set within a rounded frame that maintains a balanced outline and clear geometry.
By bringing together two long-standing structural motifs, the ring presents cultural references in a distilled modern form, retaining clarity while remaining grounded in traditional craftsmanship.
